Open Mics

Be a part of our monthly Open Mics every fourth Monday (plus Fridays 8/9 and 9/6) this year! Swing by the coziest Asian American owned cafe in Williamsburg to workshop your performance in a safe space, connect with our community of artists, and support your peers. At a Keepsake Open Mic, all types of performance are welcome, artists are given ten minutes each to perform, and sets are scheduled in advance to allow for equal opportunity and a diverse line-up. The August 26 Open Mic will be facilitated by Keepsake House family member and flute player, Robin Wong.

The theme is Little Dreams. As artists, we think a lot about our big dreams like releasing an album, going on tour, and performing for giant audiences. These take lots of time, patience and hard work to achieve, and it's easy to feel lost in the trap of comparing yourself to others who have already achieved your larger goals. So, we want to celebrate the Little Dreams you have. A Little Dream can be anything that brings you joy, excitement, or wonder to think about.
